BikeSafe Parks Curriculum Training - Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the BikeSafe program.
The BikeSafe Parks Curriculum is a three hour on-bike curriculum for parks and camps. The curriculum is led by on-site staff, who teach directly from the curriculum provided here on the BikeSafe site.
All staff engaged in the Parks Curriculum must take our curriculum training before its implementation.
To proceed with training, please watch our curriculum videos below:
The BikeSafe Curriculum consists of six lessons for youths engaged in parks and camps. The curriculum is taught by on-site staff.
Each day’s lesson begins with a set of objectives, materials needed, scripts, and activities that reinforce the safety concepts learned that day.
After implementing the Parks Curriculum, a designated parks staff member must fill out the online Curriculum Completion Form. This form allows us to track to number of children educated through the BikeSafe program, and allows for feedback from staff who have implemented the curriculum.
